What we do
We evaluate and design routes such as anaerobic digestion, biogas upgrading, fermentation, pyrolysis, gasification and combined heat and power. We assess feedstock suitability, process configurations, integration with existing assets and the techno-economic performance of different options.
AI capabilities
We use AI and advanced modelling to understand and improve these systems:
- Predictive models for biogas yield, product formation, emissions and process stability
- Anomaly detection for early warning of process upsets and fouling
- Scenario analysis tools that combine process models with cost and policy assumptions
- Data-driven optimisation of operating conditions across multi-step processes
These capabilities are especially useful for projects that involve variable or mixed feedstocks, where simple design margins are not sufficient.
